Caoimhe Simon

Caoimhe Simon is a chemist currently employed at THG LABS since June 2023. Previously, Caoimhe worked as a Graduate Formulation Chemist at Oriflame Cosmetics from August 2021 to April 2023, successfully managing various new product development projects in skincare and personal care, with a focus on formulation and troubleshooting. Caoimhe’s experience includes formulating emulsions and gel systems, creating legacy documentation for project strategies, and integrating new raw materials. Prior to this role, Caoimhe completed a Research Master's degree in Marine Biodiscovery at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where notable research focused on dermatitis associated with cyanobacteria. Additional experience includes an R&D internship at Hollister Incorporated, where independent studies and analyses of materials were conducted. Educational achievements include a diploma in Cosmetic Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biopharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Galway.
