Sara Burgess

Sara Burgess has over 15 years of experience in the design industry. Sara currently serves as the Head of Studio at THG LABS, where they lead and manages a team of 7. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Manager at THG LABS, responsible for coordinating the workflow of the design team and ensuring project deadlines were met. Sara also had experience as a Designer & Print Production Lead at THG LABS, where they designed for various private label ranges and produced visuals using Cinema 4D. Before joining THG LABS, Sara worked as a Senior Creative Artworker at Neal's Yard Remedies, where they standardized packaging artwork and modernized typography. Sara also worked as a Creative Artworker at Acheson & Acheson, leading the Elemis rebrand artwork and creating packaging and style guides. Sara has also worked as a Graphic Designer at The Dezac Group and The Somerset Toiletry Company, where they designed packaging, literature, and exhibition stands for various brands. Sara began their career as a Creative Artworker at Spirit Create Ltd, producing final artwork and image retouching for holiday magazine titles.

Sara Burgess completed their National Diploma in Art & Design from Weston College between 1997 and 1999. Sara then pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design from Arts University Bournemouth, which they completed between 1999 and 2002.
