Sazzad Nasir

Sazzad Nasir is a highly experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of AI at THIA since February 2024 and a Senior AI Scientist at Eduworks Corporation since January 2021. With a strong focus on generative AI and large language models, Sazzad has extensive expertise in training and fine-tuning various AI models, developing NLP solutions, and deploying scalable systems on Google Cloud. Additionally, Sazzad holds an affiliated scientist position at Haskins Laboratories, Inc., where work involves neural profiling for communicative disorders and deep learning models. Previously, Sazzad was a faculty member at Northwestern University, leading significant research in neural pattern recognition and machine learning for speech analysis. Sazzad possesses a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, along with a Master’s degree from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dhaka. Publications in AI journals and media coverage highlight Sazzad’s contributions to the field.
