Viken Jawharjian

Viken Jawharjian has a range of experience in information technology and security. Viken is currently the Director of Information Security at Thielsch Engineering. Prior to this, they held various roles at Carousel Industries, including Vice President of Managed Services and Director of Managed Services. Viken also worked at Connecticut College as the Chief Information Security Officer and at Children's Friend as the Chief Information Officer. Additionally, they served as the Director of Information Technology at Towerstream and Sales Engineer at Atrion Networking Corporation. Earlier in their career, they worked for Motorola as a Principle Staff Application Engineer and Systems Engineer. Viken also had a role as the Network Administrator at Woonsocket Education Department.

Viken Jawharjian holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in IT Management, which they obtained from Brandeis University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in CIS from Rhode Island College, completing their studies from 1991 to 1996.

In addition to their academic education, Jawharjian has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Viken earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in October 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2014.
