Anthea Gargett

Anthea Gargett is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in corporate compliance and governance. Anthea has served as Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at Thiess since June 2017, also holding the position of Assistant Company Secretary. Prior to this, Anthea was the Owner of Graceville Village Pharmacy from September 2004 to September 2023 and worked as Inhouse Counsel at Kerry from September 1995 to November 2000. Anthea began her legal career as a Solicitor at McInnes Wilson Lawyers from November 1991 to January 1995. Anthea's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from The University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice, and a Certificate in Governance of Not for Profits, both from the Governance Institute of Australia.
