Michelle Borowiak

Michelle Borowiak is an accomplished financial reporting professional with extensive experience in the mining and defense sectors. Currently serving as Head of Financial Reporting at Thiess since August 2017, Michelle has progressed through various roles including Financial Reporting Manager and Senior Financial Reporting Specialist. Prior to this, Michelle held the position of Financial Reporting Manager at Downer EDI Mining from November 2008 to August 2017, and served as a Senior Financial Accountant in the same company. Earlier experience includes a role as Taxation Accountant at Boeing Defence Australia from June 2005 to November 2008. Michelle holds a Master of Taxation from UNSW and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle.
