Rodney Thorn

Rodney Thorn has a robust career in the mining industry, beginning as an Operator at Thiess from July 1997 to July 2000, where responsibilities included various operator roles across multiple sites. From September 2000 to June 2003, Rodney held the title of Superintendent at Huddy's Earthmoving, overseeing various projects, including the Highway mine at Mt. Rodney returned to Thiess in July 2003 and has since served as Mining Superintendent and Mine Supervisor, playing key roles in significant projects such as the Burton coal project and the Lake Vermont coal project. Rodney's educational background includes attendance at Charters Towers High from 1985 to 1987.
