Joshua Balloch is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology consulting and development. As the Founder of Thimble Consulting since July 2017, Joshua has guided clients in connecting their software maintenance to long-term strategic visions. Previous roles include Consulting Software Engineer at Glossier, Inc., where Joshua led the development of a financial data pipeline, and at Casper, where Joshua contributed to the Fulfillment tech team. Joshua also held positions as Interim Head of Technology at Felcana, where core tech foundations were built, as well as positions at Plated, AirAware, GIGABASE, and Thinkspace, demonstrating a strong track record in full-stack development, team leadership, and innovative solution delivery. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from McGill University and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International School of Beijing.
