David Lafond

David LaFond, MS, MBA, CISSP, CCSK, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at United Teamsters and as an Executive Technologist at Palo Alto Strategy Group. With extensive experience in cybersecurity and information technology, David has held significant roles including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at CyberWarrior, where the focus is on training the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. David has also contributed as Chief Information Security Officer at Harness Wealth and held leadership positions at Thimble and Collective[i]. In academia, David teaches information technology and security courses as an adjunct faculty member at Franklin Cummings Tech. David's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Nuclear Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, an MBA from Purdue Global, and a Master's in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, alongside a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Liberty University.
