Carl Sapp

Carl Sapp is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Vice President of Modern Infrastructure and Security Architecture at MUFG since July 2020, Carl previously held positions including Senior Software Engineer at GE, Lead Developer at Capital One, and Component Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, where technical leadership was demonstrated in validation strategies and debugging across various hardware and software platforms. Earlier experience includes roles at GE Power as a Validation Engineer, contributing to testing and developing technologies for power plants, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Information Technology, focusing on data entry and relational analysis. Carl's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
