Ashir Saraar is an Engineering Intern at Thin Film Technology Corporation since December 2022, while also serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Minnesota State University, Mankato since January 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Production Team Member at Dotson Iron Castings, where Ashir learned the manufacturing processes for iron castings, and as a Research and Development Engineering Intern at Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems Asia Sdn. Bhd., focusing on the mechanical design of Gas Insulated Substations. Ashir holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia.
