Sunil Aranha has over 35 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. Sunil began their career in 1984 as a Relationship Manager at Bank of Credit and Commercial International. In 1987, they moved to Citibank NA, where they held various senior management roles, including General Manager (Vice President) Business Banking for Australia and New Zealand, State Manager Commercial Mortgages for NSW in Sydney, and Assistant Vice President Global Markets Group for Citibank in Mumbai and Delhi. In 1995, they became Head of Strategy at Colonial State Bank (now CBA), followed by Director-SME Business Development at EFIC in 2001. In 2005, they were appointed Head of Business Development at EFIC, and in 2008 they became Head of Trade and Working Capital Finance at Commonwealth Bank. In 2011, Sunil founded and became CEO of SANA International, a Banking Advisory and Finance Broking firm. Finally, in 2014, Sunil became Founder and CEO of ThinCats Australia Pty Ltd, a Peer-to-Business (P2B) lending platform.
Sunil Aranha received their ICSE from St Joseph's College Nainital in 1979. Sunil then attended Sydenham College, University of Mumbai, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B'Com) in Finance and Finance Major in 1982. Sunil subsequently obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Finance Major from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei in 1984.
