Sonali Patel

Sonali Patel, MBA, MSW, currently serves as Vice President of Partnerships and Community Implementation at Think of Us, alongside co-leading the Center for Lived Experience. Prior experience includes the role of Presidential Leadership Scholar at the Presidential Leadership Scholars program and a Policy Fellow at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, focusing on vulnerable children and family policies. Additional positions held encompass Senior Policy Advisor with the White House Domestic Policy Council, where contributions were made to human services budgets and programs, and as Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, leading efforts to address youth homelessness. Notable tenure also includes roles as Head of Government Relations for Washington State's Department of Early Learning, Senior Policy Associate at APHSA, and Director of Public Policy for the DC Children's Trust Fund. Educational background includes an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MSW from UCLA.
