Emmanuvel Raphel has worked for four companies since 2014. At UST, they were a Software Developer from 2014 to 2017. During this time they prioritized client requirements, consulted and collaborated with onshore and testing teams to diagnose and resolve bugs, and designed and developed an MEAN-STACK prototype of the legacy application. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at ThinkData Works as a Data Engineer III, Data Engineer, and Data Analyst. During this time they researched and discovered new data sets, QA and wrangled data, and built a real-time data ingestion pipeline. Lastly, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Researcher, Applied Research and Innovation at Lambton College. During this time they built a real-time data ingestion pipeline, designed and developed a web-application to track the records of leaks in oil and gas pipelines, and worked closely with clients to understand their requirements.
Emmanuvel Raphel completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University between 2010 and 2014. Emmanuvel then went on to pursue a Post Graduate degree in Cloud Computing for Big Data from Lambton College from 2016 to 2017. In addition, they obtained several certifications from Coursera and IBM Cognitive Class between September and October 2017, including Building Resilient Streaming Systems on Google Cloud Platform, Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform Specialization, Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform, Serverless Data Analysis with Google BigQuery and Cloud Dataflow, Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, and Data Science 101.
