Raymond Valdes

Raymond Valdes, PhD has extensive experience as a Director of Systems Engineering in the Satcom industry at ThinKom Solutions, Inc. Prior to that, Raymond worked as a Systems Engineer at Panasonic Avionics Corporation and FLIR Systems. Raymond's research background includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Microscale Thermal Processing Lab, UCSB, focusing on gas turbine engine thermal protection. Raymond also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, teaching undergraduate engineering classes. Valdes holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering respectively.
