Alan Karimullah

Alan Karimullah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alan started their career as a Java Learning Assistant at Sheridan College in 2014. Alan then worked as a Java Developer at Evertz in 2014 and Citi in 2015. In 2016, they were a Software Developer at UXP Systems. Alan briefly worked as a Back End Developer at Compass in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Project Developer at Evertz. Alan then joined HSBC as a Back End Developer from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are a Software Developer at ThinkOn Inc. since 2023.

Alan Karimullah completed their education at the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a major in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Robert Bateman High School from 2008 to 2012, where they focused their studies on Computer Science. In addition to their degrees, Alan has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they were awarded the Certificate of Mathematics Higher Level from The International Baccalaureate. In 2011, they received the Certificate of Computer Science Standard Level from the same institution. Alan also achieved the Certificate of Distinction in the Fermat Mathematics Contest and the Junior Canadian Computing Competition, both provided by the University of Waterloo.
