Jason Ward

Jason Ward has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Jason began their career in 1995 as an IT Specialist and Group Sales Consultant for Alpine World. In 1999, they took on the role of IT Support Specialist for Westpac Institutional Bank. In 2001, they became IT Manager for Travelplan Australia and then Information Technology Support Supervisor for TD Waterhouse Investor Securities, Inc. in 2002. In 2004, they were appointed IT Operations Manager for Avnet Technology Solutions where they project managed the national rollout of Avnet's global CRM application and digitally transformed the Avnet Aust data centre. In 2010, they joined Dicker Data as a Solution Architect for Pure Storage and SmartStack. During their time at Dicker Data, they increased distribution-led partner sales for Pure Storage by 38%, developed and implemented creative channel programs and delivered lead gen initiatives. Jason also established himself as a trusted advisor, consistently exceeding sales targets. In 2019, they became General Manager - Professional Services at Ingram Micro, where they identified and realized substantial new business opportunities in net new accounts and existing accounts, achieving YoY revenue growth of 150% and doubling the active customer base. In 2021, they joined TeamViewer as a Channel Account Manager and, in 2022, they began working as a Partner Development Manager for Thinxtra, Enabling Massive IoT.

Jason Ward obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA from the University of Technology Sydney between 1991 and 1995. Jason has also obtained four certifications from VMware and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including Vmware Sales Professional-Carbon Black (2021), Vmware Sales Professional-Workspace One (2020), HPE Hybrid IT Sales (2020), and Vmware Sales Professional-VCF (2020).
