Corey Malanga Hartnack

Corey Malanga Hartnack has a diverse work experience in various industries. Most recently, in 2023, Corey worked as the Director of Strategy at This Place. Prior to that, Corey was involved in creative, marketing, and brand strategy at Open Space Brands, starting in 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Corey held the position of Chief Retail Officer at Barry's and Vice President of Retail. Additionally, Corey served as the VP Design and Director of Lifestyle & Graphics at Alo Yoga in 2016. Prior to this, Corey was the Design Director at Spiritual Gangster from 2013 to 2016 and SVP Design and Merchandising at 291...from Venice from 2011 to 2013. Corey also gained experience in merchandising and design roles at Topo Ranch from 2005 to 2011. Corey's early career involved working as a Casting Director at New Line Cinema LLC from 2004 to 2007.

Corey Malanga Hartnack completed their education between 1998 and 2002 at the University of Vermont. During this time, they attained a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude degree, specializing in Spanish Language and English Literature. Corey also pursued a minor in Film Theory. In 2009 to 2011, Corey enrolled at Otis College of Art and Design, where they focused on Adobe CS5, CAD, and Fashion design studies.
