Seema Paterson

Seema Paterson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Seema recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at This Works, a skincare company focusing on the link between lifestyle and skin health. Prior to that, they were the Global CFO at Pixi Inc., an international beauty brand known for its natural products. Seema also worked as the Director of Finance Europe at Canopy Growth Corporation and held the position of CFO/COO at Nails Inc, a beauty company. Seema has also held various leadership roles in organizations such as the UK Crowdfunding Association, LendingCrowd, Tangent Communications PLC, and Collins Stewart Europe Ltd. Seema began their career as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen and later worked at Societe Generale as a Manager in Mergers and Acquisitions.

Seema Paterson completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1992, they attended Richmond Upon Thames College where they obtained their A levels in Maths, French, and Economics, achieving A grades in all subjects. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, Paterson pursued their higher education at the University of Leeds, where they completed a Joint Honours degree in French and Economics. Subsequently, from 1996 to 1999, they enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to become a Chartered Accountant (ACA). In terms of professional development, Paterson also attended the MOE Foundation in 2022, where they obtained certification as a Certified Coach, specializing in coaching.
