Des O Leary

Des O Leary is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event production and management. Currently serving as Managing Director, COO, and Head of Operations at This Is Catapult since February 2007, Des has played a critical role in various high-profile projects, including the Coors Light Peak Tour. Prior experience includes significant positions at Web Summit as Technical Director and Head of Production & Technical, where Des was responsible for the design and execution of exhibition elements. Additionally, at Emergent Events, Des managed large-scale events, including the Street Performance World Championship, ensuring seamless operations for up to 140,000 attendees. Des also held the role of Operations Manager at Eq Audio and Events prior to 2007. Des holds a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from the National College of Art & Design, completed in 2002.
