Tony Lane

Tony Lane has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Tony most recently worked as the Risk & Commercial Director at Org starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Risk and Compliance, Contract & Commercial at Abtran from November 2021 to August 2023. Tony also held the position of Board Member - CIPS (Volunteer) at Citizens Information Board between February 2019 and January 2022. Tony has also worked at companies such as UnitedLex, Capita, Deloitte, Bank of Ireland, KPMG Consulting - Bearing Point, and Hastings Direct, holding various roles in risk management, compliance, contracts, and IT consulting.

Tony Lane attended Hamilton High School in Bandon from 1986 to 1992, where they obtained their Leaving Cert. Tony then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at University College Cork from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they attended CIMA from 2000 to 2004 and earned a degree in Management Accounting, specifically ACMA. Tony also obtained a certification as an IT Project Manager from IBM in 2003.
