Software Engineer at Thistle

Kate Skorija has held a variety of roles in the tech and service industries. Kate began their career in 2014 as a Photo Laboratory Manager at Hendrix College. In 2015, they moved to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art as a Guest Services Associate. In 2016, they took on the role of Assistant Librarian at the Fayetteville Public Library. In 2019, they worked as a Conservation Crew Member for American Conservation Experience. In 2020, they joined CollegeNET as a UX Engineer and Hubb as a Software Engineer, where they built modular, sleek user interfaces from design mockups using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript and worked on an Agile development team. Kate is currently employed at Thistle as a Software Engineer.

Kate Skorija completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Studio Art from Hendrix College in 2015. Kate then went on to complete a Certificate in Full Stack Web and Mobile App Development from Epicodus in 2020, focusing on Computer Software Engineering.
