Julian Knoll, PhD, serves as the Head of Data Experience at BNP Paribas Personal Investors, focusing on AI, Data Science, and Market Research since October 2018. Previously, Julian held the position of Lead Data Scientist specializing in Business Analytics and Information. Julian's academic contributions include a role as a University Lecturer at FOM University, teaching e-Business, Big Data, and Data Science from October 2018 to March 2020. Before that, Julian worked as a Post-Doc Researcher and Research Scientist at the Nuremberg Institute of Technology's Computer Science Department from October 2014 to September 2018. Julian's career began at Schaeffler, progressing from a Trainee in various departments to Project Manager in the Internal Audit Department from October 2007 to September 2014. Julian earned a PhD in Statistics and Econometrics: Machine Learning from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim.
