Beckey Skouge Sphr

Beckey Skouge, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of experience in human resources. In their role as Director of Human Resources at Thomas Allen, Inc since 2013, they are responsible for managing the entire HR function for a large social services firm. Beckey oversees staffing, employee relations, benefits negotiations, and policy development.

Previously, Beckey worked as a Principal Consultant/Owner at RAS Consulting Services from 2009 to 2015. In this role, they worked with small to medium sized companies to enhance their HR departments, negotiating benefit contracts and developing new programs. Beckey also provided training to management on effective employee relations and organizational outcomes.

From 2006 to 2009, Beckey served as the Director of Human Resources at BioScrip, where they strategically directed a team of HR professionals supporting a $1 billion organization.

Prior to that, as the Director Human Resources at Arrowhead Hospitality Group from 2003 to 2006, Beckey managed the HR function for a management company with contracts for eleven different hotels and businesses. Beckey focused on benefits, labor relations, and policy development.

Earlier in their career, Beckey worked as a Principal Consultant/Owner at RAS Consulting Services from 2000 to 2003, providing direction to various business entities in areas such as employee relations, policy development, staffing, and benefit design.

Beckey also served as the Director of Human Resources at Augustana Care Corporation from 1995 to 2000, where they revamped the entire HR department and standardized HR policies and procedures for three separate business entities.

Beckey Skouge, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota. Beckey also attended John F. Kennedy High School for college preparation. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in April 2007 and the Senior Certified Professional (SCP) Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in January 2015.
