Christopher Charles

Christopher Charles possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product management, currently serving as the Mechanical Product Engineering Manager at Thomas Built Buses since July 2012. Christopher's career at Thomas Built Buses includes roles such as Continuous Cost Improvement Design Engineer, Inventory/Materials Information Supervisor, and Logistics Supervisor, where Christopher supervised a team of 21 employees and led initiatives in process improvement utilizing Lean Concepts. Prior to Thomas Built Buses, Christopher worked at Dick's Sporting Goods as a Pro Shop Sales/Repairs specialist and contributed to the automation of shelf packaging assembly lines at US Leisure. Christopher also gained experience as an intern at Salisbury-Rowan Utilities. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, earned in 2011, and has engaged in professional development through the High Point Chamber of Commerce in 2019.
