Shaunta Stafford, MA, COA, OSC, currently serves as a Surgical Coordinator and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Thomas Eye Group since April 2013. In this role, responsibilities include transcribing patient history and physical exams and accurately documenting physician encounters, diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Additionally, since August 2021, Shaunta has held the position of Clinical Operations Supervisor and Clinical Lead with the Atlanta Hawks, also taking on the role of Guest Experience Captain. Educationally, Shaunta holds a Medical Assistant Diploma from Savannah Technical College, earned between 2002 and 2004.
