Robert Werner

Robert Werner is an experienced educator in English and college counseling, currently serving as an English Teacher and Associate Director of College Counseling at Avon Old Farms since June 2017. In this role, Robert teaches various English courses, oversees college counseling for multiple seniors and juniors, and has developed strong relationships with numerous regional and international colleges. As a dedicated coach, Robert leads the JV Baseball team and has held coaching positions in basketball, hockey, and soccer. Previous educational roles include writing and essay coaching at Ullram & Associates and founding the Watkinson Historical Society at Watkinson School. Robert holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and has actively engaged in professional development, participating in various workshops and conferences to enhance skills in counseling and teaching. Additionally, Robert works as a lead bartender for Thomas Hooker Brewing Co., showcasing versatility beyond the classroom.
