Jenna Owens is a professional with experience in various roles such as Getting Word Oral Historian, Project Manager, and Assistant, as well as a Tour Guide and Historical Interpreter. Jenna has also worked as a Photography Lab Assistant and Student at the University of Virginia. Jenna has served as an Assistant Kitchen Manager at Hope for Kids and interned at organizations like Digital Archaeological Archive of Comparative Slavery and Dust Depo Art Studio. Jenna has a Bachelor of Arts in African American and African Studies with a minor in Studio Art from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage Management at Johns Hopkins University.
