Catriona Harrop, MD, SFHM, FACP has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Catriona began their career as a Hospitalist at Day Kimball Healthcare in 2004, where they worked until 2012. Following that, they joined UMASS Memorial Healthcare as a Hospitalist from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania Health System) as a Hospitalist for a year. Since 2015, they have been associated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, where they have held various roles including Director of Hospital Medicine, Farber Institute of Neuroscience, Medical Co-Director of Pre-Admission Testing, Associate Chief Medical Officer, and currently Senior Vice President of Jefferson Medical Group.

Catriona Harrop, MD, SFHM, FACP completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Smith College from 1988 to 1992. Catriona then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they engaged in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained the certifications of Senior Fellow of Hospital Medicine from the Society of Hospital Medicine in 2017 and Fellow of the American College of Physicians from the American College of Physicians in 2017.
