Dr. Nupur Nischal

Dr. Nupur Nischal has a diverse and extensive work experience. They currently hold multiple positions at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, including Emergency Medicine Physician, Director of Clinical Informatics in the Emergency Department, and Digital Health Lead. Prior to this, Dr. Nischal was an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Duke University Health System and a Clinical Fellow in Healthcare Innovation & Patient Experience at Thomas Jefferson University. They have also held roles at inVision, Epoch Elder Care, United Preference, Covance, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Rutgers University–New Brunswick.

Dr. Nupur Nischal completed a BA in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University in 2011. In 2012, they earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Nupur then pursued a Residency in Emergency Medicine at Duke University from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Nischal also participated in a program on Healthcare Innovation & Patient Centered Digital Design at Jefferson Health in 2016-2017. Additionally, they obtained certification as an American Board of Emergency Medicine Diplomate and received a BE Clinical Informatics certification from the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM).
