Richard Joseph Galup is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations and systemic management across various healthcare institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Jefferson Health-North Region since March 2012, Galup oversees a network of six non-profit hospitals totaling 1,500 beds. Previously, Galup held prominent roles including President of Jefferson Health System-Northeast Division and Senior Vice President of Operations at Aria Health. With a solid foundation in healthcare administration bolstered by an MBA from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and advanced degrees in Occupational Therapy and Health Sciences from Misericordia University, Galup has demonstrated leadership in enhancing healthcare delivery and operational efficiency throughout the Philadelphia region.
