Dennis Hand

Dennis Hand serves as the Executive Director of the Jefferson Center for Maternal Addiction Treatment, Education, and Research and holds multiple academic titles at Thomas Jefferson University, including Associate Professor in various fields. Previously, Dennis was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Vermont, focusing on behavioral interventions for opioid-dependent women and research on pharmacological withdrawal in drug-exposed neonates. Academic experience includes work at Central Michigan University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, where contributions were made in behavioral studies and undergraduate education. Dennis completed a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology and holds an M.S. and B.S. in Experimental Psychology and Psychology, respectively, from Central Michigan University.
