Emily Shown

Emily Shown currently serves as the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions at Thomas Jefferson University since November 2022. Prior to this role, Emily held various positions at Study Group from August 2014 to December 2022, including Team Lead for Partner Admissions and Senior International Admissions Manager. Emily's career began with a communications internship at HollaBack! NYC in early 2014 and included a role as an AmeriCorps Outreach/Volunteer Specialist at the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault from December 2012 to December 2013. Emily earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Human Sexuality from Widener University between 2014 and 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Social Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey from 2008 to 2012.
