Frances Dougherty

Frances Dougherty currently serves as the Director of Student Health Services at Thomas Jefferson University starting in April 2024. Frances has a robust background in healthcare, previously working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Braskem from May 2015 to April 2024 and as a Nurse Practitioner at Premise Health from December 2012 to April 2015, where Frances managed a Nurse Practitioner run clinic. Prior experience includes serving as a Nurse Practitioner at St Clair OCMED, focusing on post-offers, executive exams, work injury care, and travel medicine, as well as a brief role as an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Beaver Valley Medical Center. Frances started the nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Charleston Heart Specialists and has further experience in internal medicine at Prime Medical. Educational qualifications include an MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner from Marshall University, along with a BSN and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University.
