Katherine Sherif

Katherine Sherif, MD, serves on the Scientific Advisory Council at FemmePharma, Inc. since 2021, and functions as a Clinical Consultant at Included Health since July 2018. In academia, Katherine holds the positions of Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs in the Department of Medicine, as well as Chief of Women's Health at Thomas Jefferson University since 2014. Katherine co-founded the Global Nutrition & Health Alliance in 2014, aimed at educating about optimal nutrition and the role of vitamins and supplements. Previous roles include Director of the Center for Women's Health and Associate Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, and Founder and Director of the Center for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, emphasizing the linkage between reproductive and metabolic disorders. Katherine's early career included a Medical Chief Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a Fellowship in Hypertension with the American Society for Hypertension. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychobiology from Hamilton College.
