Michael Maguire

Michael Maguire is an experienced physician and educator currently serving as Associate Program Director and Academic Hospitalist at ChristianaCare, with roles including Lead in Global Health Education and Internal Medicine Hospitalist. Since May 2021, Michael has also held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University. With a strong background in medical education, Michael served as the Education Lead for the MedPeds Residency Program at Nemours and has held prominent roles with the Association of American Medical Colleges, including Chair of the Organization of Resident Representatives. Michael's clinical training includes MedPeds Chief Resident and Resident Physician positions across various institutions. A graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Michael holds an MD/MPH degree and has furthered studies in public policy and health while also contributing to global health initiatives with the World Health Organization.
