Selin Seckin

Selin Seckin is the founder and CEO of Elegance By Selin Jewelry since December 2024 and is currently a doctoral researcher at Thomas Jefferson University, where studies focus on neuroscience. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate research assistant at Yeditepe University from September 2017 to June 2019, where Selin conducted a master's thesis on the neuroprotective role of the apelin receptor in GT1-7 neurons. Earlier internships at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa included work in a brain and neurodegenerative diseases research laboratory and a cytogenetics laboratory. Selin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Thomas Jefferson University, expected completion in June 2027, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Yeditepe University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Kocaeli University.
