Carol Benfield

Carol Benfield has a strong background in financial planning and analysis. Carol is currently working as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Thomas Scientific since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Thomas Scientific from August 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining Thomas Scientific, Carol worked at Endo International plc as the Director of Finance - Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis from January 2016 to June 2017.

Their early experience includes working at VWR as the Director of Financial Planning Analysis from January 2012 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the consolidated forecasting process, managing a team, and providing leadership reporting on key risks and opportunities. Carol also played a key role in the IPO readiness and Hyperion implementation projects.

Carol's previous roles also include Director of Finance at VWR, Manager of Financial Planning Analysis, Senior Analyst of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Staff Accountant at various companies.

Carol began their career at Jones Apparel Group as an Inventory Accountant.

Carol Benfield has a strong education background, having obtained several degrees. Carol completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance at the Saint Joseph's University - Erivan K. Haub School of Business from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they also completed their Master of Science (MS) in Accounting at Saint Joseph's University from 1992 to 1996.
