Charles Simmons

Charles Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Charles is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Allentown, LLC since June 2023. Charles also holds the position of Executive Board of Advisors at Broadsky Partners since February 2023.

In their previous roles, Simmons has demonstrated their leadership and expertise in various companies. Charles served as the Director Board of Directors at Thomas Scientific from February 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple significant positions at Thomas Scientific and Company, including Vice President of Marketing, E-Commerce, Pricing, Content Development, and Strategic Sourcing from May 2011 to February 2023, and President & CEO from October 2016 to February 2023.

Simmons worked at Keystone Automotive as the Director of Category Management and Market Strategy Development from April 2007 to May 2011. Charles was responsible for leading category sales and profit growth of nearly $250 million and developing innovative market strategies.

During their tenure at VWR International, Simmons served as the Vice President of Strategic Customer Services from January 2005 to May 2007. Prior to that, they held positions at VWR, including Director of Indirect Expenses from January 2003 to May 2005, and Director of National Marketing and Regional Operations Director from January 1999 to May 2003.

Simmons started their career in the US Army Infantry, where they served as a Captain Airborne Ranger from May 1989 to May 1998.

Charles Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Norwich University, where they studied from 1987 to 1993. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma in April 2007 and the United States Army- Special Forces Assessment and Selection Graduate and Selectee from the United States Department of Defense in February 1996. Charles also received the Ranger Tab certification, which is an advanced leadership school and training program offered by the Department of National Defence.
