Volkan Kayasu

Volkan Kayasu is an experienced manufacturing and engineering professional with a strong background in process optimization and project leadership. Currently serving as a Manufacturing & Repair Engineer at Thomassen Energy BV since October 2020, Volkan previously held positions as a Process Engineer at Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV, where responsibilities included evaluating assembly line efficiency, and as a Repair/Lead Engineer at GE Aviation, overseeing repair projects for marine and industrial engine structures. Earlier roles included serving as a Composite Manufacturing Process Lead Engineer at Roketsan Missiles Inc., focusing on new project leadership and manufacturing technology development. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from Middle East Technical University, complemented by training at Ubiqum Code Academy.
