Britney Misson, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Referral Development and Coordination Specialist and Outpatient Mental Health Care Coordinator at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus since February 2023. Britney is pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, having previously earned a Master's in Public Health and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Appalachian State University. As a Clinical Social Work Intern at A Preferred Women's Health Center and Brave Step, Britney is involved in developing trauma-informed care processes and programming for sexual violence survivors. Previously, experiences include roles in account management, operations, and customer service at various organizations, as well as strategic development in the non-profit sector.
