Teresa Lees (Tera)

Teresa (Tera) Lees, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in various HR roles. Teresa (Tera) is currently the Chief People Officer at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus. Prior to this, they worked at FACE as a Senior HRBP, where they partnered with cross-functional teams and leadership to provide HR services and support staffing, organizational development, and talent management.

Earlier in their career, Teresa worked at US Foods as an Area HR Business Partner, where they managed everyday HR operations and implemented strategic initiatives to enhance staff performance and engagement. Teresa (Tera) also worked at Target as a Team Leader, where they monitored team members and ensured accuracy in product shipments.

Teresa's experience also includes working at St. Francis Health Center as a Trainer of Organizational Development and an Employee Relations Manager. In these roles, they designed and implemented various developmental initiatives, training programs, and HR policies to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

Throughout their career, Teresa has demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a focus on diversity and inclusivity in talent management. Teresa (Tera) Lees, SHRM-SCP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Missouri. In December 2015, they obtained the certification of SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM. Additionally, they also obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in the same month and year.
