Sheila Turner

Sheila Turner has over 20 years of work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Sheila began their career as a Market Analyst at Reznick Group in 1998 and then worked as a Senior Account Manager at Levick Strategic Communications from 2001 to 2004. Sheila then joined Mayer Brown as their National Media Relations Manager, where they designed the department and headed the U.S. media relations efforts. In 2006, they became the Director of Communications at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where they collaborated with leadership on client-focused messaging and managed public relations strategy for the global law firm. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they worked as a PR Consultant at their own business, Sheila Turner Communications. Most recently, they have been employed at Thompson Hine LLP, first as a Media Relations Manager and currently as the Associate Director of Public Relations.

Sheila Turner attended the University of Maryland from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
