Kendra Yoch

Kendra Yoch is an experienced education law attorney currently serving as Counsel at Thompson & Horton LLP since May 2022, where Kendra partners with various educational institutions to address student issues, particularly in special education and civil rights. Prior to this role, Kendra was a Partner at Franczek P.C. from January 2012 to May 2022, providing legal counsel on student-related matters and leading special education mediations. Kendra's legal career began at the District of Columbia Public Schools, serving as Assistant Attorney General, and also includes experience as an Associate at Hogan & Hartson. Kendra started a career in education as a middle school special education teacher with Teach For America. Kendra holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master’s in Education from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Davidson College.
