Johnny Covalt

Johnny Covalt has over eight years of engineering experience, currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Performance at Thompson Pipe Group since September 2020, where previous roles included Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, Johnny worked at Hunting Energy Services from January 2015 to September 2020 as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on product design, improvements, and continuous enhancement management. Earlier experience includes a role as a Material Test/Analysis Lab Assistant at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and an internship as a Manufacturing Process Engineer with a focus on rapid prototyping and material testing. Johnny's engineering career began at Casedhole Solutions, loading perforating guns and managing logistics, and also includes early experience as a cashier and stocker at Kmart Corporation. Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
