Light Juma

Light Juma is a seasoned project coordinator currently engaged with the Thomson Reuters Foundation, focusing on media development and freedom in Sub-Saharan Africa since May 2022. Previously, Light served as a Chevening Scholar, facilitating a master's degree in Media Practice for Development and Social Change at the University of Sussex. Experience includes roles as Programmes Officer at the Association of Media Women in Kenya, Communications Training Consultant at In-Depth Research Services, and Grants Manager at Chemonics International. Light's educational background encompasses a BA in Journalism from United States International University - Africa and a commitment to enhancing communication within various organizational contexts.
