Allison Martell

Allison Martell is an experienced Enterprise Project Manager and Editor specializing in Artificial Intelligence at Thomson Reuters since June 2011. Martell has a strong background in investigative journalism, having served as a Senior Correspondent and contributing to global stories while supporting investigative reporting across Canadian bureaus. Previous roles include being a Reporter with a focus on investigative projects and various beats, including transportation and mining, as well as being seconded to Reuters' enterprise data journalism team in New York. Martell completed an MA in Economic Policy at McMaster University and holds a BA in Economics, International Relations, and Urban Studies from the University of Toronto. Additional experience includes editorial internships at The Walrus and the G8 Research Group, as well as leadership roles at The Varsity and Eye Weekly.
