Kylie MacLellan

Kylie MacLellan is an experienced journalist currently serving as the UK Deputy Breaking News Editor at Thomson Reuters since September 2008. In this position, Kylie has been involved in planning and executing real-time multi-media coverage of significant global events, including notable trials and elections. Previous roles at Thomson Reuters include UK Political Correspondent, IPO Correspondent, and UK money, politics, and general news correspondent, all requiring strong news judgment and versatility. Kylie began the journalism career as a Graduate Trainee, exposing to various news desks. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Kylie contributed to the Economic Review and held a leadership position as Southampton Local Committee President for AIESEC. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from Cardiff University and a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Southampton.
