Federico Malo

Federico Malo has extensive work experience in the finance and real estate industry. Federico currently holds the role of CFO & Capital Markets Director at Thor Urbana, where they have been working since 2017. Prior to that, they were the Capital Markets Director at Thor Urbana from February 2017 to July 2019.

Before joining Thor Urbana, Federico worked at MetLife Real Estate as a Senior Associate Director from March 2014 to February 2017. In this role, they led the production of commercial real estate loans and was responsible for developing new borrower relationships and conducting financial analysis.

From March 2012 to February 2014, Federico worked at MetLife Real Estate Investors as a Junior and Senior Associate Director. Before that, they held the position of Junior Associate from December 2007 to February 2010.

Federico also gained experience at Scotiabank in their Corporate Banking and Loan Syndications division. Federico worked as a Senior Relationship Manager from June 2006 to November 2007 and as a Junior Relationship Manager from June 2004 to May 2006. Federico also held the role of Senior Manager from October 2002 to May 2004.

Federico's career began at GE Capital Real Estate, where they worked as an Analyst and FMP from October 1999 to March 2002.

Federico Malo holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the IPADE Business School, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued Real Estate Law in Mexico at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) from 2009 to 2010, and also took a course on Strategic Planning for Real Estate Investments in Mexico at ITAM from 2007 to 2008. In 2005 to 2006, Federico obtained a Corporate Finance Diploma from ITAM. Federico'sundergraduate studies were completed at ITAM from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, General. Federico's education journey began at the Colegio Suizo de Mexico, where they studied until 1996.
