Sonya Cohen Ma, Ccp, Slp

Sonya Cohen, MA, CCP, SLP, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience in both clinical and educational settings. Since January 2013, Sonya has served as the Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner of Lakeshore Speech, specializing in personalized therapy for children and adults with a range of communication disorders. Concurrently, Sonya has worked at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Resurrection Health Care, THOREK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, and Vital Rehabilitation, focusing on adult acute care, NICU, and pediatric populations. Previous positions include roles at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Advocate Healthcare, and Chicago Public Schools, with foundational experience gained at Northwestern University Speech Clinic. Sonya holds a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-med Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
